Ashlee Simpson and beau Pete Wentz have surprised the world with two great news at single point of time. The first great news is that the duo has walked down the aisle and the other one is that this very newly wedded couple is also expecting their first child together.
Bittersweet World singer, Ashlee, 23, exchanged vows with Fall Out Boy bassist, Pete Wentz, in a wedding gown designed by Monique Lhuillier. The wedding took place on May 17, 2008 and was witnessed by Ashlee’s elder sister Jessica Simpson and her beau Tony Romo. Engaged couple and parents to Harlow, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden, also joined them for the ceremony.
The wedding was confirmed by their spokesperson who said,
We’re delighted to confirm that Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson were married this evening in front of family and close friends.
