Eva Mendes is the latest star to follow the footsteps of Alicia Silverstone, Christina Applegate and Pamela Anderson in posing naked for the fight against fur in ‘Fur? I’d rather go naked’ ad campaign by PETA.
The ad, where onlookers would get an eyeful of an au naturel Mendes, unveiled at the New York’s Rockefeller Plaza. Shot by photographer Don Flood, over a thousand posters will be circulating throughout the city. Peta hushed up the location of Mendes’ appearance to avoid a mob.
A concerned Mendes said that there is nothing cool in killing an animal and wearing fur, rather, with all the faux-fur options in the market, people can opt for those. It’s an interesting observation, though, that few of PETA’s celebrity spokeswomen are reportedly non-vegetarians and own mink and fur coats!!!
