Country singer Luke Bryan welcomes second son

Country singer Luke Bryan is on cloud nine following the birth of his second child yesterday. Luke and his wife Caroline welcomed a 6 lbs., 8 oz. baby boy - Luke’s second fishing partner, Tatum Christopher - at 9:48 a.m. Wednesday morning. And it seems the newborn was equally excited to join his dad in his fishing adventures because he arrived a week earlier than planned.

People reports,

“All I ever hoped for was one boy and to have two, it’s going to be fun. I’ve already got new fishing spots picked out for us,” Bryan, 34, tells PEOPLE exclusively. The singer called from his cell phone while at a local Sonic where he was picking up a lemon berry slush for wife Caroline, 30. “I had planned to buy her a little present today but then the baby came early, so the slushie will have to do it for now,” he explains with a laugh.

Here’s a hearty congratulations to the proud dad. I’m sure Tatum will soon pick up the tricks of fishing and bating from dad and elder brother Bo. God bless the family.

Here’s a good news for Alanis Morissette fans. The Canadian-American singer-songwriter is expecting her first child with new husband Mario “MC Souleye” Treadway.

According to Contactmusic,

The Ironic hitmaker, who was previously engaged to actor Ryan Reynolds, married the rapper in May (10) after just seven months of dating. Now Morissette has announced she is expecting a baby, with full details due to be revealed in an upcoming issue of Us Weekly magazine. In a feature titled ‘25 Things You Don’t Know About me’, the singer says, “I am pregnant!” as number 25 in the list.

Here’s a big congrats to Alanis and hoping that this new relationship gets even more stronger with the pregnancy news. It’s double celebration for Samantha Who? hottie Christina Applegate. The 38-year-old actress, who is looking forward to tie the nuptial knot with fiancé Martyn Lenoble anytime now, has just broke the news that she’s pregnant.

People reports,

The actress and her fiancé Martyn Lenoble are expecting, her rep confirms to PEOPLE exclusively. Applegate, 38, and Lenoble, 41, dated for two years before becoming engaged on Valentine’s Day. No date has been set for the wedding.

I wish to thank Christina and Martyn for this awesome news. We need such cheerful news at regular intervals to sweep out the gloom from the celebrity world and keep it as glittering as ever. Here’s wishing a big congratulations to the couple and hoping that the celebration starts ASAP.

Sylvester Stallone talks Thug Dog on David Letterman

This is one of the most hilarious episodes I’ve ever watched on David Letterman’s late show. The guest was none other than Sylvester Stallone, and the talk somehow got diverted to the funny incident when Sly’s wife shattered his dreams by neutering his “Thug Dog” while he was busy shooting for his last Rambo film. In his own words,

Everything in the house is female... I’d like to have one male companion. I looked in the dog thesaurus and it says, ‘Catahoula leopard dog, raised in the swamps of New Orleans, considered the thug of the canine world.’ I said that’s it. I got a thug dog. He’s got crystal eyes, they’re kind of off-center. This dog, he’s going to do some terrible things.

Unfortunately, he had this thing with his body, his reproductive system is kind of reddish - like mistletoe, like holly. My wife said, ‘This is clashing with my drapes!’ I go off to do Rambo and I come back and my dog has now been turned into a chipette. I said, ‘What happened to the package?!’

I guess that leaves you once again in your favorite position - one-man army! Never underestimate female energy, Sly.

Cool Celeb of the Week: Mel Gibson

The Cool Celeb of the Week crown for this fateful week goes to Braveheart Mel Gibson. In spite of being portrayed as a demon in those audio tapes by his ex-girlfriend Oksana something, Mel has kept his cool intact. Apart from those altered tapes, we are yet to hear him utter a single racist rant or witness him burn the whole world down for not believing him. Even the professionally-photoshopped photo of Oksana (released by RadarOnline) failed to raise his blood pressure and transform him into Mad Max. He has been extremely cool and dealing with the whole scandal in a graceful and legal way, which further cements his claim that he is innocent and Oksana is the real culprit.

It’s just a matter of days before the law uncovers the real plot and puts Oksana behind the bars on charges of extortion, but we aren’t going to discuss it here at this time. At this moment, I just want to thank and congratulate Mel for being cool. Keep it up, Mel!

Here’s a good news for Justin Bieber fans. The wonder kid is all set to double your chances of hugging him in the intimacy of your bedroom. Well, at least his animated image. Bieber’s lifestory has been turned into a comic book.

According to Contactmusic,

The 16-year-old singer has been animated for Fame: Justin Bieber, which chronicles his childhood in Canada and his rise to fame after he was discovered on YouTube.com. The Bluewater Productions comic will also feature the Baby hitmaker’s first headlining tour. The comic book, due in October (10), is part of a series of graphic biographies featuring the stories of country singer Taylor Swift, soccer star David Beckham and Lady Gaga.

Congratulations, Bieber! Now this is one news that’s completely digestible for me without any hiccups. You are too cute for real life. I bet Kim Kardashian is rejoicing. Keep it up, kid!

Craig Ferguson and wife expecting a baby!

Late Late Show host Craig Ferguson and his wife Megan Wallace Cunningham have all the reasons to kick start a big celebration, or rather a string of celebrations. Craig and Megan are expecting a child! This is the first child for the couple, which makes the news even more cheerful.

The 48-year-old funnyman shared his excitement with fans by announcing the good news on his Twitter page, in his own style,

Holy crackers! Mrs F is pregnant. How did that happen? ...oh yeah I know how. Another Ferguson arrives in 2011. The world trembles.

Of course, the world has no option but to tremble Mr F! And the world is also too much happy that you and Mrs F are all set to bless us with another Ferguson. Here’s a ~~big~~ huge congratulations to both of you!
